Dear Grand-papa

I would of wrote to you a great deal oftener had I of had time. I would be very much obliged to if you would tell William that Miss Betsy Bass would be very much obliged to him if he would walk out and bring the flowers he promised her, for she is doing up her garden. There is an old dutch woman out here almost by here that has straw berries almost as big as a birds egg at a shilling a quart. Tell mama to come out to morrow and we will get her some to bring to you. Mrs. Bass says she never saw such in her life. She says she says she would send you some only hers is so small they arnt worth excepting. I am your dutiful Grand-daughter
