I ask you a thousand pardons my Dr. Sir for not having returned you your great Coat sooner I had entrusted the Servant to be sent by a Savoyard and thought no more of it till my Father received your letter yesterday but he not taking notice of any thing that you had written him about it did not see your ps till too late & [even] the bearer was gone I came myself to make my excuses to you and to enquire after the health of the Dr. I am Dr Sir Yours &c
