Dear Sir

I am up to the neck in Business therefore cannot do myself the Pleasure of seeing you today. I send my Servant to fetch some Cloaths. I wish you wou’d be so kind as to send me any Letters & notes or any thing else that may be in the Ofice for me pray let me know if any thing has been sent from the Gentn. of last night, I forgot to tell him where I should be to day, in the hurry he was in to leave us, did you see him again after I left you? If any thing turns up I should be happy to See you—pray be so good as to send my man back again immediately.
