From Robert Morris (unpublished)
New York June 29th. 1789
Dear Sir

The Packet which arrived at this Port from Bourdeaux, brought very few if any letters even the Minister Count De Moustier told me he did not receive one line by her and I had not the Scrip of a Pen; I know from Circumstances that your bills were duely honoured by Mr. Grand, but No advices respecting the time of acceptance or payment have come to me, my latest dates from Mr. G. Morris are the 2d of March and by a letter from London of the 25th of April I learn that he was still in Paris and much in Fashion there. Your letter to Mr. Grand shall be put into the Bag of the French Packet this day. I hope you enjoy your health and that it is less interrupted by the painfull complaint with which you have been afflicted, than when I was in Philada. With very great respect and esteem I remain Dear Sir, Your affectionate and faithful humble Servant

Robt Morris.
