I called twice to see your Lordship & was twice disappointed. I shall not be able to call again for some Days having but one Leg that is of any use to me, the other being much bruised by my Horse having fallen with me, luckily there are no bones displaced so it will be only a little Exercise for my Patience. As all my Books Papers &ca. are at Passy & as I shall only be occasionaly in Town during the Winter shall be glad to have the Room which Bob had destined for me. I suppose it will be no inconvenience to the Doctor or any part of the Family. Remember me respectfully & affectionately to the Doctor & M Hewson. I am my dear Billy Yours affy.
