Benjamin Vaughan to William Temple Franklin (unpublished)
Octr. 25, 1784, Js. Square.
My dear sir,

The cast-iron coverings are to be seen at Mr. Delight’s architect, in Ludgate Street, on the right hand side after having ascended the hill towards St: Pauls. The name is on the door: The number, if I recollect, 6 or 7.—

I have just declined an invitation to Bowood, for reasons which will prevent my going also to Chilbolton.

Bennet, behind the change, sells the pistols I spoke of. The saving is 20 per cent, compared with Wagden in the Haymarket.

You will meet Beaussy here on Thursday next. Pray present me to your father. The cold prevents my adding more. Yours ever,

BV.
