my dear Billy

Nantes 22 Jan 1780.

If the Doctor has any blank privateer Commissions I shall be obliged to you if you will procure one for Capt Boardman who commands the Schooner Betsy to my address. Pray insert in the Commission the Names of Walter Peter & Co as owners. The Discription of the Vessell &c you will find in the Bond herewith sent, I have left the Date Blank to be filled up as you fill up the Commission. If then is anything wrong in the Bond pray send me a Proper one & I will return it signed but don’t let this delay the Commision as I expect to get the Vessell away in 10 or 12 days.—

Let me hear from you by return of Post & beleive me to be ever yours most sincerely & affectionately
