Dear Sir

I have but this Moment received your favour of the 16th which was owing I suppose to its being too late for the Post it was intended for—

The Price you mention for Lucerne is considerably more than I supposed or had Thoughts of charging you for—The lowest I have known it sold for, by the like Quantity, is half a Crown; at which Price I proposed to myself to charge you; & I doubt not but this will be agreeable. Be pleased to make our respectful Compliments to Mr & Mrs. Pyne. I am with great Regard Your most obt. hum Servt.
