yours of the 30th last month I duely recieved and am happy to find I have so sincere a Friend in this World—I can assure you my situation, is rather to be pitied, after our pleasing Encounters—As for the time of reliasement, I do not know when it will be—you may depend upon my ever writing & remembring so sincere a Friend as You—& should you come to Virginia, always remember me or have any command’s there, nothing would give me more pleasure than to do it for you—I have this Day bought me a Phaeton & Harness at Philadelphia Beleive me ever your Sincerest Friend Yours most affectionately:
