Dear Franklin

Give me leave to introduce to your Acquaintance & Civilities, Benjamin Chew Esq of Philadelphia, who proposes staying a few Weeks in Paris—You will oblige me much by making him known to our Friends, as a Gentleman of Character. You know I have a high opinion of your Address & condascention & therefore presume d’avance that you will readily excuse this Liberty.

In a few Weeks I ambark for Ama: If I can serve, command me. Present my Res—to your Grand Father & tell him I will take charge of any Thing he may please to entrust me with. With Esteem I am Dear Franklin Sincerely Yours
