Much obliged for the Polite reception, when I was a Philadelphia I thougt it my duty, to inform your Excellency, that I made the purchase of a farm, at a distance of 2 miles form Esopus in this State. It is universally allowed to be a valuable Spot of ground, and, I hope, I wil not be disappointed. Wishing to your Excellency the continued enjoyments of such a perfect health, as can be expected at the age of your Excellency, joined to the applauding approbation upon every act of your Presidentship I remain with Sentiments of respect Sir!
