Dear Temple

I beg leave to trouble you with the inclosed Letters for Trieste as they are of consequence to us & our friends I am sure you will take the utmost care in forwarding them as speedily as possible; I send them via Newyork, to catch the earliest oportunity for France, our Navigation being intirely shut up here, & have been so far more than a month

I was in Maryland when the last packet sailed. or should have wrote by her,—please to present the family’s love to my Father, & Son, accept the same yourself from Dr. sir Your affectionate Kinsman
