Dear Sir

I am honored with your favor of the 1st. Instant, expressive of regard to me, and disappointment at my removal from Philadelphia, a fresh proof of your friendship and condescending kindness by which I am further obliged. Arrangements important to my interest commends my residence here for some time longer to effect these it becomes necessary to sell a much valued farm betwixt eight and nine miles from your City, from its high situation, salubrity of the air and otheradvantages I am in hopes that it will suit some one of my Friends, and in particular yourself for that reason I have requested Mr. Bowie to give you the opportunity to purchase from an opinion also that it will be a most agreeable retreat from the Summer heat for a contemplative mind, being at a considerable remove from any public road. He will at the same time give you a discription of the place and inform of the price, therefore I shall not trouble you further than to say that the title is indisputable examined and certified by Mr. Lewis Wise. Excuse this freedom and believe me with great respect Dear Sir Your most obedient and very humble Servant.
