The 24 february last I had the pleasure to pay my respects to you since which I am not honord with a line from you. I advised you Mr Grand having in answer to my Letter to know if my draft on him agreable to your instructions would meet due honor wrote me to defer, not having received your advises on that head—I presume this has slipt your attention to which permit me to remind you

The convulst state into which the Change of antients [?] has thrown the Kingdom threatens consequences which time only fix the Event. all the provinces protest against the new measures as giving to the Court too great influence on the property of the people and taking away the sole Barier, to Check the Ministry say the parliaments—

Sweden & Russia have begun to put in action a long smothered enmity. the moment is favorable for Sweden having the Turk who engages the principal of the Russian forces—The Turk is also favord by the diverscin.

To the Doctor pray make my assurances of most respectful attachment I have the Honor to be Sir Your most Obedient Servant
