Sir,

We had the honor to offer for the consideration of Congress two apllications from the honourable the Supreme Executive Council of pennsylvania for a detachment of the Troops of the Union, one dated the 18th. and the other the 22, Instant, we took the earliest opportunity in our power to effect a Speedy determination, the result of which we herewith transmit and have the honor to be With very great regard Your Excellency’s Most Obedt& Huml Servants
