[April 22, 1785]

Mr. Williams is requested To wait upon Dr. Price with my Letter, and obtain from him the List of Books I have requested of him, and get Mr. Strahan to make up the Parcel, and ship them to the Care of his Father in Boston, for Franklin Township, desiring him to put them into the Hands of the Minister for the Use of him and the Congreagation. I will upon Sight pay Mr. Strahan’s Draft for the Amount.

To apply to the Executors of Mr. Hodgson for the Ballance that appears due to me on his Books. Dr. Bancroft can inform who they are. If recev’d, to remit it to me by a Bill.

To pay for me     to Mr.    on Account of Newspapers furnish’d by Order of Mr. Thomson of Dover, and send me the Receipt. And to express my thankful Acknowledgements to Mr. Thomson for his kind Care in that Matter.

To leave the little Ecritoire with Mr. Nairne, request his Acceptance of it from me, and explain him the use of it.

To deliver the Book of Philosophical Transactions at the Royal Society house, and desire the others as per Note herewith.
