From B. C. Cutler (unpublished)
Paris 14th: May 1782
Sir

The Honorable Miss Murray of Ghent did me the favor to inform me sometime since, that she should take the Liberty to send to the care of your Excellency, a miniature portrait, left in her charge by the late Mrs. Battier, to be forwarded to me, to send to Her Father at Boston. As I intend to leave Paris immediately permit me to request the favor of your Excellency, to forward the picture (when it arrives) to Mr. Thomas Ivers at Boston, who is Father of the deceased Lady. I am with due Respect—Your Excellency’s most obedient and most humble Servant
