I was at a distance in the Country, for my Health, when I received the Letter you did me the honour of writing to me the 16th. of last Month, or should sooner have replied to it.

My Grandfather (supposing it will be more agreable to you) consents to take your Bill on your Father for the Twenty five Louis d’ors he lent you on your leaving Paris. It is not convenient to him to make you a further Advance.
