Had it not been from the Information Reced at Your House—That Your Departure was fixd for Monday Morning Early—I certainly should have Attended Your Commands—I have reced Your Favor Sr & am much Oblidged to You—But Here I must beg leave to Say—The Pains I affixd in My Little Memorandum—were not These—I should Have placed to the Account of a Gentleman—Who was Wholly Indifferent to Me—I mention this Only Sr. that You may not have the Smallest Foundation to Suppose an Overcharge—I very much wish you Health Sr. & that This may find You safe Arriv’d—The Locket intended for Monsgr. Le Comte D’Artois—may be estimated Sr. at 35 L Sterg.—to a Private Gentleman But Sr. as the Parisians have other Modes—And Other Prices—Than the Workmen of London it may be proper Sr. to let it Stand Thus—I Sollicit Sr. My most Grateful Acknowledgments to His Excellency for His Condescension to My Requests—& am Sr. Yr. Obedt. Servt.
