The Papers I left with you are concerning Count Delmesse a great Nobleman of Italy, who is a famous Voyageur & who wants to go & travel all over America. for his Instruction Mr. Caccia, a famous Banker of this Place & an other Gentleman of my Acquaintance, requested of me to ask you whether your Grand Papa would be so Kind, as to give that Nobleman a Letter of introduction for some of his friends in America. I understand such a favour would higly oblige the Count delmesse & the Gentlemen that make me apply to you, & which I should be obliged to serve à condition toutte fois que ma demande ne soit pas indiscrete.

I shall likewise take it as a favour if you can send me an order in favour of M. Dana.
