Thomas Barclay to William Temple Franklin (unpublished)
13th. June 1784
Dear Sir

I Return you the Papers which you lent me respecting M. Chaumonts accounts, and I suppose the last Bill on M Grand for 20,000 is to be added to the balance of 26804..9..7 which stands on Your acco. Current due by M Chaumont If so, every thing is presently right, save one livre to the prejudice of M. Chaumont, made in the sum paid by M Grand

Let me know whether M. Chaumont is Returned, I shou’d be glad to see him Tomorrow at his house, to Close his Account during M. Deans residence at Paris—If I am enabled to send out the particulars to America by the next packet, it will be doing M. Chaumont an Essential peice of service. I am very much

Dear Sir Your Obdt.

Thos. Barclay
