I am much concerned my dear Billy at hearing that the Doctor is ill of the Gravel. I hope it is slight & pray you to keep me constantly advised, should it grow serious I shall think it my Duty to pay my Respects to him in Person.—

Pray was anything ever done in the affair of Springer & his Comrades at Brest I shall be obliged to you if you will look over my Letters 26 June & 9 July & write me.—

Inclosed is [Truetts] Bond signed. I am in haste my dear Billy Your affey.
