I cannot sufficiently express the great Pleasure I felt in seeing on the 4th Instant, the martial Appearance and excellent Order of the Militia under your Instpection. If all the military Corps of the Commonwealth, are equally well desciplined, we shall, with the Blessing of God, have nothing to fear from foreign Enemies; the surest Defence of a State being Arms in the Hands of its Citizens.
