From Mary Stevenson Hewson (unpublished)
Dover April 26. 1785
My dear Sir

Here we are all safe and well, after a pleasant Journey and voyage, no sickness. I cannot say even if I had time all that I feel for your kindness, but my thoughts have incessantly turned to Passy as I have proceeded from it that expression is bad but you must take the meaning. Let me hear from you, I shall be anxious till I do. Believe me your truly grateful and affectionate
