Mr. Vaughan presents his most affectionate Compliments to Mr. Franklin, and would be much obliged to him to inform him, if Dr. Franklin could conveniently give a passport for Germany by Strasbourg, tomorrow, when he hopes to have the honor of calling; and if it will be convenient, to make that request for him. Mr. V would would apply to the English Ambassador, but that he has not paid his respects to him since his Arrival.
