Abbé of La Vernusse. Preceptor to the children of the comte d’Artois. Author of “Poème sur l’électricité,” which was published in the Année littéraire (1763), and of L’art de s’amuser à la ville, ou Les quatre parties du jour (1777; 2nd ed., 1778), a free translation of a work by Giuseppe Parini. Member of the Academy of La Rochelle.
