Member of Franklin’s social circle at Passy. He nicknamed her Eurydice after the heroine of Glück’s opera. She may have been an amateur singer.

Married in 1768 to Gratien-Jean-Baptiste- Louis, vicomte de Flavigny. (1741-1783), captain of dragoons, lieutenant colonel (1777), and author of a number of literary and military works.
