Lived in the household of Henry Seymour Conway, field-marshal and M.P., as companion to Seymour’s wife Caroline, Lady Aylesbury, or, possibly, housekeeper. Little is known about her, but her letters to Franklin and others reflect a strong interest in botany. She may have been Susannah Jennings of Shiplake, Oxfordshire.
