Protégé of Franklin, who entertained Fisher several times, gave him secretarial jobs, and promised to recommend him for a teaching position at the English school of the Academy of Philadelphia. Returned to Williamsburg; later settled at York. Best known for diary of his 1755 visit to Philadelphia.
