Acquaintance of the Lee family.
When William Lee became involved in an “affair d’honneur” with Samuel Petrie, Arthur Lee sent Boush and Walter Pollard to Valenciennes, where they were to act as his brother’s seconds. The duel did not take place, but insults continued to be exchanged, with Boush acting as courier between the two men. Boush eventually visited Petrie to demand satisfaction of his own.
