English friend of Franklin.

Resided at Bury St. Edmunds, where Franklin visited him (1758). Helped Franklin research his Foulger ancestors (1759).

Possibly son of David Edwards, Pennsylvania Assembly doorkeeper and clerk for the provincial commissioners.
