Captain of the Marangoin.

Former overseer of an estate in Tobago. Commanded a Martinique privateer, the Marangoin, with a crew consisting entirely of French subjects from Guadeloupe, and captured a prize. Captured by the British and committed to Forton Prison (October 1777). Escaped.
