Also edited the firm’s newspaper, Berlinsche Nachrichten von Staats- und gelehrten Sachen, and wrote scientific articles for it. Edited and translated numerous historical and scientific works. Published Allgemeines historisches Taschenbuch . . . (Berlin, 1783), which included a lengthy essay on the American Revolution by Matthias Christian Sprengel.
