Sims, James (1741-1820)

Irish physician.

Practiced in County Tyrone, Ireland, and in London. Author of several medical works. President of the London Medical Society. Also active in the Philanthropic Society and the Humane Society. Retired to Bath (1802).

Educated at Leyden (M.D., 1764).
