Prisoner from Providence, Rhode Island.

Captured aboard the American warship Washington by the H.M.S. Fowey (December 1775). Along with other prisoners, he was brought to England and forced into the service of the British.

Captured by the French and confined in Dinan Castle. May have been released in November 1778.
