Member of Parliament for Wallingford (1780-84) and Westbury (1784-86).

Son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Kersey) Arcedeckne of Jamaica. Educated at Eton and Christ Church College, Oxford. Married Catherine Leigh (1777); five children. Brother- in-law of Richard Bennett Lloyd of Maryland.
