But as you was a Gentleman I was intierly unacquainted with I was 10th to trouble you till compeld by Necessity which is realy the reason of my troubling you for Sir. My situation is such that I am almost Distetute of Wareing Aparrel. Indeed Sir my Distress is and Discription and Sir as my Necessitys is so Presing I must beg you would be so kind as to Credit me with twenty Guineas till I can git out of Captivity. Then Sir my first Business shall be to repay it or Sir if you would chuse I will give Bills on my Brother in Boston who has the Care of my Business in my Absence but Sir I suppose who is equelly as much a stranger to you as myself. But Sir, as my Distress is so great I cannot dispair of being honourd with your Friendship for which I shall ever think myself under infinate Obligations to a Gentleman who has deleverd me our of distress Sir, if I can be so fortunate as to be favourd with my request. I beg you would send me the Contents through safe Channel and please to favour me with a few lines as quick as may be conveanent.
