In reply to the Letter you have honored me with the 26th instant, you may depend on my informing you punctually of the arrivall at our Port of Captn. Nicholsons Ship which you Say to be expected here & to return to New York immediately without waiting for a Cargoe. the Wind is at present very favorable to bring her in a short time.

His Excellency your Grandfather may be sure that I shall take the greatest care of his baggage.

if besides Captn Nicholson’s ship any other Vessell should offer either for Boston N York or Philadelphia from this Port, I shall inform you thereof with Particulars with regard to the time of their departure accommodations &c. all sorts of Provisions, Bedding &c can be had here.

if His Excellency your Grandfahter does not injoy a good health, & should think to not meet with a good bed in our Inns, I offer him an exceeding good one at my House. there is another room joining for one of his Servants to lay in.
