Dear Sir,

I received your kind Letter congratulating me on my safe Return. It gives me extreme Pleasure to find that my old Friends still retain their Regard for me. My Esteem and Affection for my Friend Thomson, has been constant and uniform, and will last as long as I exist. I long to see and embrace you, being ever Yours most sincerely
