to the order of Benjamin Bucktrout, and which you have refused to accept because they are not Endorsed by Said Bucktrout, in Consequence, I returned them to Messrs. George and Teysset of Amsterdam who have Sent them back to me desiring I would offer you their Guarantee and mine till they furnish you with the Duplicates of Said Bills duely endorsed. They belong to a poor American Cape. [Captain] who wants very much that money and if your Excellency Complyes accepting them, I will be answerable as also Messrs. Geo. [rge] Clifford and Teysset.
