Dr. Sir,

The Papers tell us of a Packet from N London having been chas’d on Shore near L’Orient—her Dispatches sav’d.—If she saild from N. England, I shall hope for Letters from my friends, & they will probably come into your hands.—I write this therefore to request you will attend to them, & be so kind to forward them to me, under cover to our friend Mr. D—.
