Jos. Gilpin begs leave to present his Excellency Benjamin Franklin Esqr. with the Samples of such kinds of Paper as have been made at the Brandywine Manufactory and to mention that his uncle Miers Fisher Esqr. would be highly indebted to him for the Loan of those books on the subject of papermaking, which he was good enough to offer him yesterday.
