My dear Billy,

I have received your Favors of the 28 past & 8 Inst. you may depend on my doing every thing in my power for the poor Woman at Brussells. I have made my observations on the Invoice of the Marq. de la Fayette & have forwarded it you in a packet by Mr. Laurens. I thank you for forwarding the Commission & return you herewith the Bond. I apprehend the affair of Springer & Co. to be dicided, if not justly I shall take the Liberty of troubling the Dr. again./. I am glad to learn the Dr. is much better than I at first apprehended & hope soon to hear of his entire recovery. I am as ever My dear Billy Yours affectionately
