Richard B. Lloyd to William Temple Franklin (unpublished)
Dear Sir,

I think it an age since I heard from yr. Worthy GrandFather & yourself—How have you both been for this long time?—Pray let me hear from you by the first conveyance—We have been very gay here with the French Troops—Who are in my opinion a prodigious fine body of Men. I have taken the liberty my Dr. Friend to desire my Relations in England to enclose their letters to you which I know you will readily forward to me.—I will order a person to repay you for what postage you may pay for me—If there is any thing I can serve you in in this Country I beg you will command me freely.—Conservez moi votre amitié, et croyez que je suis de tout mon coeur Monsieur, Votre très humble &c. &c. &c.

Richard Btt. Lloyd
