Dear Sire

I took the liberty to trouble you on the 1st. Inst: accompanying a Small bill & order of Mr Hopkinson’s, if the few things he wants are provided, please commit them to care of Capt. Jones now at Paris, who I am informed returns here soon.—

I attend here to Embark, under protection I hope of the Alliance, if you shoud on this occasion, or at any future period, have any Commands in which my Service’s can be rendered usefull to you in America, be assured, I shall take pleasure in convincing you of my attachment and Respect—wishing you much happiness & prosperity, believe me most Sincerely My Dear Sir Your friend & obedt Servt
