Sir

I am honoured with your Excellency’s letter of the 14th. Ulto. with the Act of your Assembly to which it refers, which will be laid before the Legislature of this State, ad their approaching Session the ensuing Week.

I am persuaded they will be disposed to observe such a line of conduct, as shall manifest a religious regard to cultivate peace and good harmony, consonant to the principles of Justice. With sentiments of the highest Respect, I have the honour to be your Excellency’s Obedient and humble Servant.
