I have by me two small Loan Office Bills drawn on the Commisss. at Paris as per Memdme: below which have been forwarded there via London but unluckily arriving after Doctr. Franklyn had left France, they are returned unpaid; the Mercht in London advising there was no Commissioner at Paris to take them up; and I am now at a Loss what can be done with them—If you’ll be kind eno’ to take the trouble of mentioning the Circumstance in yr. next Letter to the Doctor, that upon receiving his answer I may know what Course to take with them for payments twill particularly oblige me—being with all due respects—Sir your most Obedt. huml Servt.
