Dear Sir,

The Bearer, Mr. Pollock, an old Servant of the United States, informs me that he has some Business to settle with the Congress, and requests of me an Introduction to your Excellency. His Character and Services must be well known to many of the Members, and I could only beg leave to recommend his Affairs to your favourable Attention.
