My good sir, I have just time enough to acquaint you that the first thing I did in coming to town was to inquire after the price of the Mourning Buckles, some are sett in blue stones, which I suppose to be paste, & others are sett with a black Jett, both are dear. the first done properly would amount to 5 Guineas or there about, the Jett ones a Guinea or ½ Guinea less. if you determine to have a pair send me your Measure & the form you want it.

Please as soon as convenient after the receit of this to send to littlepage & lett him know I am uninformed whether my Recommendation to my family reached him, & if he has been so Kind as to deliver the Workbag to my cousin.

I hope your Pins & bath coating have given you satisfaction. I shall be glad to hear it.

I have this day debitted my father of £3.15s.11 stlg. for their amount.
