Your Favour of the 24th of April 1785, came to my Hands but a few days since. I receiv’d with it the Book and Pamphlets you were so kind as to send me, for which I beg you to accept my Thanks. But I have not seen Captain Stutz, and suppose he may not be come to this Country.

We have now in the Press here a second Volume of the Transactions of our Philosophical Society. As soon as it is finished, I shall do myself the Honour of sending you a Copy, hoping it may prove acceptable. With great Esteem, I am, Sir, Your most obedient and most humble Servant
